WhAt is your thought to this to this article Despite looming talks of a government shutdown in recent months, Congress finally looks to pass a bill that would secure funding for the following six months, allowing the government (and all government services) to remain open and operational. While this is by no means a permanent solution, or even a solution at all, it buys Congress six more months to piece together something with more substance, and keep our government and services running at full capacity. Current funding is set to expire on Saturday, March 23 2024, at which time the government will shut down if funding is not secured. Voting for this bill is set to take place tomorrow - Friday, March 22, 2024. The $1.2 trillion spending package is set to pass with bipartisan approval. Congress has also already passed six additional bills this month to secure over $450 cumulatively. Personally, I was relieved to see this news. As someone who closely follows economic and business news, this has been the hot topic of discussion lately, with plenty of speculation as to what may happen. While I know that our government has dealt with a few of these near-shutdowns
