What I've taken from the course is that to make progress we need a road map to guide the program in the right direction. Program planning is the first foundation for developing a successful organization. Research is done with implementation, management, evaluation, and reporting. I've learned to input the major goals for the program and resources that we need/funding. In human services, there are complicated tasks and continuous policy changes to follow, while helping individual's needs. My understanding is to approach with a plan and flexibility. Privacy and discretion in human services are critical for client's rights. Our job in Human services is to help and give support to achieve their goals. What I've learned from the course is having various resources can boost the program by hiring more staff and training staff the correct way, while servicing the community. comment
