Delta Airlines is one of the United States global airline leaders and they provide the ability for goods along with people to navigate an have access to places all across the globe. Services are bought twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week and range from airline tickets to the shipment of millions of tangible goods. The external force I feel most directly correlates to the six external forces would be the Global Environment. There are many external global factors that can affect supply and demand with Delta Airlines. A few examples of these global factors would be politics, pandemics, terrorism, war and a host of others (Ray, L 2019) . Thus causing the price of tickets to decrease due to lack of eagerness to fly. On the flip side more enticing global factors might otherwise cause an increase in flights causing and increase in the price of tickets and increasing shipping of goods (CAPA, 2020). Currently we are experiencing a global pandemic fueled by a virus that has caused a decrease in the number of passengers flying. Due to this flights have been grounded and sales have been low. Delta is now offering lower fares to attract customers because of the shift in demand (Part 2: Economic Environment. 2020).
