And how do we factor in the draining of young workers from rural areas in developing nations? Meanwhile, Americans who lost their jobs to outsourcing experienced lasting drops in income when, and if, they found new jobs. To me, it's clear: offshore outsourcing is simply a way of pitting workers in different parts of the world against each other, to benefit corporate profits.
