What type of control would the things in this list be? (Designed to help something good happen or mitigates the risk of bad things happening)
I'm working on a project in my Internal Audit course with some classmates where we find controls in the surrounding community and we need to label if they're designed to prevent bad things or to designed to make good things happen-- but I'm not sure how to differentiate.
The "Controls":
Fire Extinguisher
Traffic Lights
Safety Harness (to prevent falling)
Pet Waste Station (for dog walkers to grab bags to properly clean up after their dog, also includes a small trash can to throw them away)
Yield traffic sign
Hazmat Respirator Mask
Any help is appreciated, thank you!
