1. What type of disorder is this? Samantha is a 38-year-old nurse, married with two children. She an R.N. in the ICU in a very high acuity hospital. She is back in school for her N.P. and in her "free time", she is taking her two children to their multiple sports, doing schoolwork, and trying to maintain relationships. While at work the past few months, she has the feeling that something is wrong, or something is going to happen. For the past four months, she has had trouble sleeping and seems to be agitated while at home being a mom. Schoolwork has been impacted because the worrying has demanded attention. Even during moments of relaxation and calming times, she continues to feel tense and uneasy.
