In terms of answering your question, your hypothesis must include 2 variables (not one which is what you state your hypothesis is currently). This is because a correlation always includes 2 variables. Your hypothesis needs to be an objective statement that can be tested. And it needs to include the specific variables that you plan on studying. I would recommend getting with the course tutor. In addition, you need to state your null and alternate hypothesis and it needs to be written in proper APA scientific notation to meet the distinguished mark. As an example, if I were studying the elationship between alcohol and car accidents and I intended to plan a correlational analysis, my null and alternate would look like this: HO: There is no relationship between alcohol consumption and car accidents And my alternate hypothesis would be: 1: There is a statistically significant relationship between alcohol consumption and car accidents. hope that helps and please let me know if you have other questions, Dr. Hale ---- Original Message ---- Sent on:Sunday, October 9, 2022 12:41 PM If I am trying to find out whether there is a correlation between variables not listed in the four you want to be included in the paper, how am I including these? My hypothesis only includes one of the four. Are we supposed to use the gpa and final as our focus?
