Many things can help predict the performance of a project. The satisfaction of the customer is a great indicator that helps predict the performance of the project. If the project is running behind by several weeks this can disappoint the owner and he or she can change contractor depending on the terms and conditions of the contract.
ISO 9000 is an example of one of those indicators. This system is a set of quality management system standards created to help organizations build, continuously improve, and maintain their quality management systems to provide the best products and services for all stakeholders and customers (Peterson, 2019). Those standards can help the contractors get guidelines to ensure customers get the right products and are fully satisfied.
In the critical thinking paper, the goal was to make the owner of the project happy. Delivering the project on time is one of the biggest goals. For something to be monitored the end product must be established. Every step of the construction project has a certain amount of money that is released. The bank that is responsible for the loan monitors everything that is done on the project. This is one way the project can be monitored. The thing that should be monitored is how fast the project can be completed and the customer's satisfaction level. The key indicator that needs to be monitored is the client's retention rate and profit margin.

Hi Gervon, Additional metrics that could be used to fulfill customer satisfaction will be if you track planned hours versus spent time and resource capacity. Planned hours versus spent time will help you understand if you delivered the project within the budgeted time. If it took longer than expected, it would be good to know the reason(s) behind the delay. Some reasons could be due to lack of resources or lack of planning. If there were other reasons besides these two, it should be noted so the next time an estimate time of completion is being promised, the additional factors are mentioned. Resource capacity is evaluating how many tools a company has to complete tasks. Manpower could also fall under this category. Yesenia Mandujano Reference Jessie, Tricia.
