what you like/constructive criticism of this post. Ethics can be taught through education and practice, and I do believe our experiences help shape what our beliefs and behaviors are. Just because something can be taught, doesn't mean it is simple nor easily attainable. Ethical leadership is through respect, service, justice, honesty, and community which are all areas that can be improved upon and not something that everyone will naturally be born with. A challenge of teaching ethics can be the diverse group of people and different generations who have different views and mindsets and trying to get everyone from different backgrounds to agree on the same ethics and views. In an ethics curriculum I would include real life examples of how ethics can be applied in different scenarios and have the students initially reflect on what their own personal ethics are. Virtual teams do not have to work in a face-to-face environment with coworkers which can make it harder to effectively collaborate and communicate with everyone. Therefore, team building can be more of a challenge and can take longer to go through Tuckman's Stages of Group Development and could be more difficult to get out of the "storming" phase if individuals choose not to address issues in order to better collaborate together. Leadership in virtual teams have to be more involved and clear communicators in order to make sure the team in collectively collaborating and efficiently making progress towards the goal
