What you think about this comment? I learned that I must always check my spelling and grammar when putting together my resume. I observed numerous spelling mistakes when I rushed through my first draft. This could potentially deter future employers from looking at it. I also learned that it was not necessary to include skills that did not apply to the job. My draft resume consisted of information that involved my prior history in the food industry. Not only is this information outdated but did not have relevance to the position I would be applying for in the future. The last thing I learned is that organization matters. I used Microsoft word to properly align my resume and highlight sections that I felt would gain the interest of a potential employer. As a representation of me I want my resume to set me aside from other candidates and show why I would be the best employee for the job
