When employees have been shown how to do a routine job, it is then most important that the supervisor:

carefully observe them for several months and occasionally re$-$instruct them

observe them but let them do the job by themselves as long as they do it right

have them give regular reports as to their progress on this new job

let them do the job with confidence they will do it properly
