When it comes to the education system, most everyone thinks of learning and its impact. To be an educational leader in the 21st century, I agree with Agwu and Bessant that businesses or organizations need to thrive in their triple bottom line dimensions, the environmental, economic, and social values (Agwu & Bessant, 2021). This entails school leaders to not only concentrate on the academic aspects of education but the impact of the system to the community as a whole. Future leaderships need to be aware of the rising global impact of climate change, technological advances, depletion of natural resources, and so many other issues that impact what students of the future need to face. Organizational behavior (Rice, 2019) will indicate what employees value and how aligned they are to the organization's goals. If both the employee and employer are aligned, then there is a willingness to work in collaborate jointly. From reviewing my organization's values and goals with respect to the triple bottom line, I feel that I am in agreement with all the values. Not only am I in agreement with the values and goals, but I practice them on a personal level. However, there is a slight discrepancy in the follow through by the organization that is short coming in fulfilling set goals. The organization has great, meaningful values of environmental and social benefits but the implementation is not to its fullest due to the lack of communication.
