When my grandma would purchase bread in the 1960s, the price would be around 22 cents. Today bread costs around $3. I would say that there is a pretty big difference between the two prices, this is because of inflation. Gas is also another item that was cheap in the 1960s, it was around 30 cents a gallon, and now the prices of gas are $3 and higher. 2 items that I regularly purchase today are apple juice and sweet tea. I do think that the prices of these items will go up within the next 20 years. I think these prices will probably double
