• When Stella Liebeck took the lid off of her coffee that she purchased at McDonalds to pour the creamer into it, the cup tipped over and she was severely burned and was in the hospital for a week due to several surgeries resulting from the burn. Even though there was a warning stating "Caution this is hot" it is written in small letters and most people wouldn't think that "hot" means hot enough to result in substantial burns that required several operations to help them heal. McDonald's refused to lower the temperature of their coffee even after they knew how severely Stella was burned. It was also discovered that 700 customers had made complaints about being burned by the coffee but the complaints were ignored. Provide a brief explanation regarding which stakeholders were impacted by McDonald's decision to serve their coffee at such hot temperatures.
