When they were going out, Rashida Jensen and her boyfriend Shawn Joens spent a day with his family on a lake swimming. Jones led Jensen up a steep path to a cliff above the lake. Once at the top of the cliff, Jensen told Jones that he wanted to return to the lake, but he refused to go back down the path with her and she was too frightened to return on the steep path by herslef. Jones then tricked Jensen into jumping off the cliff by jumping himself into the lake and leaving her alone at the top. Jensen jumped off the cliff and was severly injured when she hit the water. She sued Jones for negligence, arguing that his conduct created a significant risk for her due to the terrain and that had a duty to lessen the risk or take precautions so thaht Jensen did not harm herslef. Did Jone's actions creare a duty to Jensen ?
