When we look at Capital Assets, we are assuming that companies will buy assets and then depreciate them. However some businesses lease or rent rather than buying. Comment on how the decision to purchase a vehicle and use it for 5 years look different than renting one each year for 5 years. Consider the impact on the balance sheet and/or on the income statement.
