Direct materials are added at the beginning of the production process whilst conversion costs are incurred uniformly throughout the production process. The cost of beginning work in process (WIP) is made up of direct materials of $90,000 and conversion costs $30,000. During the month $200,000 direct materials cost and $110,000 conversion costs were incurred. Additional information for the month's production activities are as follows:
