Why, according to Spar and LaMure, would a civil society group or non-governmental organisation (NGO) focus their efforts on negative campaigns against one particular company, as opposed to attempting to seek a solution to their concerns through government laws or regulations? What do you think, is it better for the cause of the NGO if the company resists, capitulates or reacts pre-emptively? Why?
