1. Wiper democratic is a company specialising in the sale of high-quality bananas. The company sales representatives sell bananas to distributors all over the country. The basic price for each carton is Kshs. 500. Each carton has 100 bananas. Discount given to distributors depends on:
   • Area of operations;
   • Order value;
   • Payment history;
   • Number of years dealing with the company; and
   • Mode of payment (cash or credit)

A regular customer is a distributor who has been dealing with the company for more than 10 years, otherwise the distributor is an ad hoc customer. A regular customer gets discount of 10% of the basic price if the area of operation is more than 300km from Nairobi, otherwise 8%. Ad hoc distributors get discount of 5% if area of operation is greater than 600km, 3% if greater than 200km, otherwise discount is 0%.

If the order value is more than Kshs. 50,000 cash distributors get a discount of 10% of the basic price, otherwise a discount is 5% for credit distributors. A discount of 2% of the basic price is given for cases where the order value is less or equal to ksh. 50,000 irrespective of the category

The company gives a discount of 5% of the basic price for each carton to cash distributors. Credit distributors get discount of 2% if credit history is good; otherwise, a discount is 0%.

Additional information:

1. A distributor is identified through a distributor number. The user should use a list box to select a distributor number.

Note: Upon selecting distributor number from a list box, the system should display in a text box the distributor category. For this purpose, cash distributors have odd distributor number. Assume that there are ten distributors with numbers from 20 to 29. The system should also display on a text box, the date and time of purchase.
