Working for a Company that specialises in residential refurbishments, there are two different division that work within the company. These can be separated into Internal and External, the Internal team focuses on all works within the internal of the house, the external conducts the works on the external of the house including the landscaping. The Company has just secured a predetermined cost/budget agreed upon with the customer for the refurbishment of 10 townhouses. As the budget has been predetermined, determining the budget split between the two teams is always difficult as both teams believes that they need to fight for a larger sum of the money that works best for them. It is your job as the leader of the Internal team to negotiate the budget with the external team leader.
