with regards to the law on provocation based on the law in England please provide a thorough breakdown on the law. also please capture the law on the reasonable person in a similar situation who would do re-provocation. also things said or done as it relates to provocation. please provide case law references. aditoanmly my question really entails on what can make a person lose self control and what must be said or done for the defence of provocation to be accepted. i am aiming to rebut a party who is claiming provocation based on things which was said by the accused when he committed the act of murder. basically what they are saying is because the deceased had cut the power (electricity) to the accused home because he failed to pay the bill, the accused killed the deceased and whilst committing the act was saying "because to cut the power my child was bitten by mosquitoes. i need to rebut this as I don't thnk that is sufficient for the defence of provocation
