WK2 Collaboration: Attachment Discussion

• Read Infancy and Childhood in your Myers textbook.
• Review Erikson's 8-stage theory of Psychosocial Development in the Adolescence section of Myers textbook.
• Prepare to discuss the connection between attachment and social development. Address the following questions.
  • Explain the importance of attachment. Recall positive points of attachment in your own life.
  • Consider where you fit in the eight stages of Erikson's development theory as a child, adolescent, and adult.
  • Relate the importance of attachment to the growth capability to Erikson's development theory.
