Working for an organization that sometimes moves at a slow pace can be difficult. Working with staff that have been within the organization for many years it can cause for a difficult adjustment. This has been the case for our IT staff at my organization. Many of the non-IT staff feel, "if it ain't broke then why fix it." This is okay when there are no other options. When there are options to improve the data management of the organization and the resources are there it is advisable to help the non-IT staff understand that it is okay to move forward with solutions that will benefit the organization in the long run.
