Workplace Inspection Report

Scenario

Coti inspects the spa that she works at monthly and is just starting to use the WSPS hazard reporting form. As she starts her inspection, she sees electrical cords that are scattered around the workstation of the front reception area. In the hallway, there are cleaning products that are not stored properly and are stationed in front of one of the treatment rooms. One of the lights in the change room is burned out but there are six others providing light for clients. The back exit fire door is propped open for fresh air, and the air quality has come up as a regular complaint from staff stating that they are experiencing dry eyes and sore throat. The H&S policy is expired by one month and now needs updating.
