World Wide Gas Corporation contracts with Seattle Heating Company to buy 25,000 gallons of natural gas to sell to customers for the winter months to heat their homes and business.This purpose of the purchase is stated in the contract. Seattle Heating agrees to deliver the gas in seven equal installments between November 2 and the following April 16. The 2018 winter is the hottest on record, and after the last agreed delivery, World Wide has accepted only 15,000 gallons of the gas. When Seattle Heating tenders the rest of the gas, World Wide refuses to take it, citing the weather and claiming to be acting in good faith and cites to the purpose of the contract.
