Remember, you are the controller and must also be concerned about the financial effect. Discuss the cost/benefit - while you do not have actual numbers to use, you can make them up or speak generally to your expectations. Would everyone volunteer for a specified organization that you identify, or would each employee select their organization? If you identify the organization, which one would it be? Why? How would you decide which one to use? How would your organization track each employee's volunteer time? Who (which department) will keep up with all the volunteerism records?
