Write a blog (single-spaced). In your blog, describe a personal connection that you have to either your event or the industry. A blog is a conversational piece, not a press release. Write casually. Be yourself. Capture your personality in writing. If you would like to, you may tell a story in your blog. For example, describe an experience in your past that prompts your interest in the event/industry today. Maybe recounting a childhood experience. Up to you! Have fun with this!  (Also, feel free to use your imagination a bit. If you want to embellish your blog with some things that didn't necessarily happen, that's fine. This is all a pretend event.
