Background of the issue

The first-year college students of De LaSalle University-Dasmarinas are preparing a MAC about global warming awareness. This advocacy aims to form an amalgamate to advocate the beneficial and knowledgeable objective that can be used to prevent catastrophic events that may occur anytime. By using 3 web-based tools such as Canva, Prezi, and Sway, the dissemination of the information and the purpose of the advocacy can be gained an attention and expand the people that will be involved for this cause. This dissemination will happen every week to have time to prepare and make a research to provide a well-informed news. Furthermore, this advocacy will create campaign and mass movement against those responsible of preventing of healing of the Earth. Through this campaign, the group will be able to show to the world the capabilities and responsibilities that the youth have when it comes to the protection for the Earth.

Method

In order for the group to accomplish the project, the following should be done: Brainstorming about the cause/issue that the group wants to advocate and the steps and materials that are needed for the multimodal advocacy campaign Preparing a proposal and submit it for approval of the professor Revising and updating of the proposal Assigning roles of the members on the different tasks Designing of plans for the activities Establishing and disseminating of the Facebook Page Inviting an Earth science teacher Producing and publishing of posters and videos Evaluating of the activities

Statement of Purpose The Multimodal Advocacy Campaign that our team prepared is compose of educational poster, videos and guide to prevent global warming in this world. The educational poster and video is consist of details and ways in helping to fight back global warming in a small way. Using social media platforms, we will spread our advocacy thru facebook every week and give the information needed to guide the people of Langkaan 1, Dasmarias Cavite.

Objective of the Advocacy:

Provide informative poster, educational videos ,and training videos using 3 web based tools, canva, sway, and prezi, to all people to unite and educate them about the harmful results of global warming to the Earth and use this bond to create actions to protect it. We aim to prepare educational videos once a week and training videos twice a week from mid- February until the end of June 2021.With these, we are attaining of changes on their actions and behavior towards the environment in over 4 and a half months. This objective will be completed by the end of June 2021.

Mission:

Ministration for the climate, educates, delegate, and integrate the people all the earth to advocate for the effective and equitable climate change enhancement due to global warming and preclude any catastrophic global tragedy that may happen today and our future.

Vision: A world where everyone is well-informed, self-reliant, self-disciplined, and federal to fight against global warming.
