We are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our busy branch in Zarqa.
The ideal candidate will have a real hands-on approach to the way we do things. If you love nothing more than getting to know your customers as well as being proactive in providing an array of services in a very busy community pharmacy, you could be the person we are looking for. We are seeking an individual who embraces change and is able to support an existing team with new and existing business initiatives. You will have a positive “can do” attitude, promote and deliver services within the team and provide a great customer experience within the pharmacy. It is essential you possess a BSc degree in pharmacy. You will be required to have your Pharmaceutical Association registration upon your start date.
The branch provides a variety of services:
- Medicines Use Review (MUR) which is a planned face-to-face consultation between the pharmacist and the patient to discuss their medicines, both prescribed and non-prescribed. The review is concordance-centred and aims to help increase patients’ knowledge and understanding of their medicines, including how and why they should be taken. It also provides an opportunity to highlight any concordance issues, side effects or other medicine-related problems from the patient’s perspective and propose solutions if appropriate.
- New Medicine Service (NMS) which is an advanced service that offers support to patients with a long-term condition who have been prescribed a medicine for the first time.
- Flu vaccination service
- Blood pressure measurement service
We are ideally looking for someone who can fulfil 24 hours per week. The actual shift pattern will be discussed at the interview, however the opening hours of the branch are:
Sunday to Thursday 8.30 am till 6.30 pm Saturday 9.00 am till 12.00 pm
