Write a memo to me in which you discuss how this course can help you in your major field. This memo will also give me a good idea about how well you write. For this course, do not double space except between paragraphs and do not indent paragraphs. There is a proper memo format given in week 3 Paragraph 1. State what your major is, and tell me about it. Paragraph 2. Explain how this course can help you with your writing and give me some examples of the type of writing you need to do for your courses for your major and in your field: do you need to write proposals? Memos? E-mails? Lab reports? Progress reports? Etc. Paragraph 3. Explain how this course can help you with oral presentations you need to do in courses for your major and in your field. What type of presentations, discussions, meetings, etc. will you be required to give or lead? Paragraph 4. Glve a concluding sentence (In technical writing, a paragraph can be just one sentence.)
