Write about a time you've behaved in a way that is consistent (or inconsistent) with societal gender roles. What was the behavior? What do you think was the cause? Deep biological sex differences, social roles, or both? If you like, you can choose to describe a time that you did NOT behave consistently with gender roles. The evolutionary perspective discussed in this section is highly stereotypical and it certainly falls short of describing the multitude of gender expressions that people engage in!
