Prompt: the effects of social media usage on the mental health of individuals.

I will be testing the hypothesis that those who spend more time on social media have lower levels of psychological well-being.

IV: Social media usage (high and low)

DV: Psychological well-being (interval measurement scale)

Prediction Hypothesis: Participants who spend more time on social media sites will report lower levels of psychological well-being compared to those who spend less time on social media.
