The peak period often starts in November and continues to April annually.
The divisional level hospital caters for more than 350, 000 population. You have also noted that the hospital has been subjected to an ongoing lack of staff particularly nurses and allied health staffs. It also periodically experiences shortage in medical consumables amongst other things.It also receives referrals from Northern and Western divisions as well as from neighboring island countries.
