Objectives

To compare the implementation of quality management systems $($QMS$)$ in public and private hospitals in Johannesburg, South Africa, with the aim of identifying differences and similarities in their approaches to ensuring healthcare quality. This study seeks to provide insights into the effectiveness, challenges, and potential areas for improvement in QMS implementation within both sectors$,$ contributing to a better understanding of healthcare quality management in the context of South Africa's healthcare system.

This research intends to explore potential strategies for improving QMS implementation in both public and private hospitals, including best practices, capacity building initiatives, and regulatory frameworks that different hospitals face everyday.

Also we our objective is to compare the effectiveness of QMS implementation between public and private hospitals in terms of patient outcomes, satisfaction levels, and adherence to healthcare standards. Since the hospital meanly focus on the people who need quality help from the facility and it$$s people or the people who work there.

To provide evidence$-$based recommendations for policymakers, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals to enhance QMS implementation and improve healthcare quality in Johannesburg, South Africa.
