  • You do not need a cover page and header/footer for this assessment, you will not be penalised whether you do or do not do these.
  • Word count the word count e.g., 250 10 %
    • If you go over the maximum e.g., 275 words, nothing past 275 words will be read or marked.
    • I will download your document and determine exactly where this is, and you will get a comment on your assessment to tell you where your 275 words are and subsequent marking has stopped.
  • You do not need to submit the template it is for your use to help you with your research and notes for the online case study, as well as your topic questions.
    • Start a new Word document for answering your questions
    • Ensure that you write - Question X Word count: xxx at the beginning of each question similar to the exemplar.
    • You do not need to write out the question. If you like to in order to help you stay on track you will not be penalised, but it will increase your Turnitin score so please ensure that you check it.
    • Make sure that you leave space between the questions in case your marker needs to write some feedback between them.
  • Only use the approved resources listed in the task summary and on the Moodle page
    • There is at least 1 journal article for each topic in the eReadings List which you can access at the top of the Moodle page.
    • There is a folder titled Journal articles for case study assessment which is where these are located. You can also use the journal articles in the folder titled Cancer and carcinogenesis.
    • If you use any other resources you will be penalised, as per the rubric.
    • You can use the lecture and tutorial slides but make sure that you reference them correctly as per the guidelines in the referencing video and subsequent slides -
      • Reference the person who did the lecture or tutorial.
      • Indicate whether it is a lecture, concept tutorial or Q&A tutorial.
      • Reference the powerpoint and not the Echo360 recording.
  • Bullock & Hales and Bullock & Manias textbooks: it is not appropriate to use these to bulk up your references if you are using the Carlson & Clapperton textbook.
    • The majority of the information in the Carlson & Clapperton prescribed textbook came from the two Bullock textbooks.
    • This is not a research assessment requiring you to look up a lot of references, it is to help you to understand how to approach the information that you need to find out about your patient, what is happening in your patient and how to help your patient.
