SCENARIO #1:John Doe died in Montgomery County, Maryland on January 21, 2023. Mr. Doe died without a will. His wife Mary died on April 1, 2010. Mr. Doe died leaving two children from a previous marriage, Betty and Julian. He is also survived by a brother, Robert, who lives in Sacramento California.

SCENARIO #2:Alice Rowe died in Montgomery County, Maryland on July 10, 2023. Ms. Rowe died without a will. She is survived by her husband, Joseph, and three (3) children. A fourth child, an adopted son, died in 2012 and is survived by a wife and two (2) adult children, Hansel and Gretel. All of these individuals live in Maryland.

SCENARIO #3:Richard Richards died in Prince George's County, Maryland on June 14, 2023. Mr. Richards had a Will but it was invalidated due to faulty execution and certain words and phrases which were crossed out in several paragraphs. Mr. Richards never married and had no children. He is survived by his mother, Mary, a half-brother, John (different mothers, same father), and two uncles, Harvey Richards and Jacob Richard
