Written project report (Individual) 40% KPIs of simulation (will discuss further in seminar) 10 - 12 pages not including charts and graphs (be creative on graphs and charts do not lean on ones in simulation) Remember this are your own thoughts within your group not allowed to use same thoughts (Turnitin) Talk about your colleagues participation/contribution Your companys performance in relation to others Do not source from the internet nor cite sources . This will result in plagiarism nor should you collaborate with your group members (individual work) Submission to Turnitin would be required The report should include your strategy and how the game had evolved for you guys during the semester process. I want you to give me your individual personal thoughts on what you could have done better i.e where your recommendations taken into consideration, implemented or even shut down; also how where decisions made and who had the final say regarding how the 6 parameters in the game (operations, pricing, marketing....etc) where dealt with Structure: 1). An eye catching title with your name and company title(s) 2). Table of contents 3). Introduction A one page introduction of the simulation, your company, the names of other execs in your company along with their title(s) and how they were chosen. Any other information you see fit kindly add to add value to your paper 4). Simulation Analysis Discuss all the 6 parameters in the "decison" field in the simulation i.e operations, pricing, marketing etc Do not give me your thoughts on all 6 decisions. I want you to talk about how you generally dealt with each parameter as a group. Highlight pivotal periods in the simulation that were crucial to your business and if decisions made were positive or negative. Was this due to pressure from your competitors or pressures from within your company. Use some of the language learnt in the course to bolster your points :-) I want to know how influential the exec heads for functional departments were able to get their wish i.e was there a conflict between HR vs Finance etc. How were decisions and conflicts dealt with. How did the CEO deal with this..Who had the final say...The world is your oyster here. I want to see more. DO NOT STOP AT WHAT I HAD WRITTEN HERE. Please keep in mind there is no such thing as we all agreed from the get go. This is not possible as we are all seperate individuals with seperate thoughts Basically with this chapter, I want to know, who contributed and who did not, I want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly. Having said that, do not use this as a sounding board to vent...Keep it at PG13 and find a balance between how the company was run, and what you think of your peers i.e were some of your ideas shot down and you turned out to be right 5). Data Analysis and Interpretation Since you instisted on how many KPIs required, I would like to see a min of 15 KPIs right across the board for 5 of the 6 parameters i.e I want to see charts and graphs showing how your company performed and how it performed in relation to others in your group. Based on the KPIs created, I want you to give me a thorough interpretation of the data 6). Conclusion Your thoughts about the simulation itself. what you liked about it, what you did not like and of course what you would like to see on it. Would you decide to start your own business or just be happy working 9-5 earning a pay check and why would you work with your fellow execs again Discuss the different positions held. Did the hat(s) fit to the person to a tee or where they better off in other roles..and why Are you happy with your company final position, what would you have done if you were given a chance to do it again
