Jacobs installed two walk-in refrigeration units for Thermaco over a period of 2 months in July and August. Jacobs billed out for $40,000 for time, labour and equipment. Thejob was a difficult one and Jacobs had to return several times to x problems. There was a standard contract to supply and install the two refrigeration units. the contract was for $35,000 dollars with a clause that stated \"if the provider (Jacobs) has to do further work over and above the agreed work. this will be renumerated at the providers' normal fees\". Jacobs had to return on six separate occasions to do further work and install more equipment as the requirements that Thermaco required for the units were above the normal specifications, this increased the costs. Thermaco has not paid any of the amount owed and is disputing the payment.
