xI think that China already is a Global Superpower despite the challenges that it faces and with time I believe it will grow stronger. If the BRI is successful China could "dominate Asia, and subsequently the rest of the world"(Nijman 369). Since China has so much money they are able to lend money to other places knowing that they would not be able to repay the money in a timely manner and then China will gain control. Another reason I think China is a Global Superpower is because so many products are made in China such as clothes and toys. Without Chinas production there would be a higher demand than supply rate. This would cause problems similar to the toilet paper issue during the COVID-19 pandemic
