Yes I agree environmental protection and packaging schemes are great ideas, but as the costs of production are increasing year on year as detailed in the case study, I believe we should pass these costs on to the customer with a small price rise as I have previously commented. We could also look at going packaging free wherever we can as well like I have heard of companies doing in France, this would be for the trade sales, we would still need packaging for the home deliveries side and one idea could be to look at using production waste such as apple leaves in with shredded cardboard. This would create (in my opinion) a different more natural look to plastic. This would then create a USP for trade no plastic and for retails a natural/ recycled look. What's everyone think
