You and your group members are part of an event company. In Part 1 of this assignment the group will create a 'vision & plan' document for an event by answering the following questions/prompts: 1. Prepare a name and logo for your Event Company. Explain how the group came up with this unique name and share the inspiration (thought process) behind the name of your event company. 2. Outline the who, what, where, when, why of the event you are preparing for and how many guests are expected at your event (minimum 20 guests). Provide a detailed description of the event including what exactly the event is, the number of guests expected, who is hosting the event, the name of the event, purpose/vision/goal of the event, and highlight other key details of the event. 3. Using the internet, find a suitable event venue that will fit well for your event. You are permitted to use the Centennial College Event Centre if you like.
