You and your team are the new procurement specialists at Nipissing Bay Distributing Company, a Northern distributor of computer and peripheral device supplies with international sales, trade and distribution. Your company is faced with a housekeeping problem at one of the warehouses on your site where the good are prepared for distribution locally and shipping internationally.

On several visits to these shops, the plant engineer has found them cluttered with trash and empty cardboard shipping cartons. An examination of the warehouse operations indicates that when each order is being prepared to ship the items are packaged using shrink wrap and cardboard boxes. In this area, the boxes of all sizes and shrink wrap rolls are everywhere. Staff are having to run around to collect supplies to package and all garbage from the packing, leftover materials and cut pieces are mixed in with the good and new packaging supplies. The empty cartons and packing materials are left on the floor causing a tripping and safety hazard. The manager, vice president and CEO have all requested this area to be cleaned up and organized, however, the people who work in this warehouse are not skilled to make a change and have it stick. They don't know how to do anything with the exception of shipping. Your company needs help and they have asked you and your team to get the problem fixed by putting out a Procurement Plan and request to get the right company in to find a solution and implement it before July 15, 2022.
