You are 6 months into a new position as director of imaging at General Hospital. You have been asked to manage the imaging equipment procurement portion of a project that will involve renovations in the ED, OR and a portion of the main department. Your first step is to create a document that will assist you to easily identify your stakeholders, their interest in your project, their opposition(s), etc. in preparation for a discussion with the larger group.

Using Word you will create a stakeholder grid.

1. Using the list of imaging equipment below as a guide for the scope of your project, create a grid to include all pertinent information relating to your stakeholders. Be creative when designing, keeping in mind that simple is usually better. Use supplemental materials for information that will help you complete this assignment.
2. Create a grid for this multi-disciplinary project which will aid you in stakeholder identification, as well as other key factors relating to your stakeholders level of interest.

Mobile PET/CT: Capital funds received to purchase in-house PET/CT. It will be placed in the main department. 128-Slice CT: Capital funds received to replace third department CT scanner. The administration is asking it is placed in the ED where a DR x-ray room is currently located. There is no place to move that equipment when CT moves in. The OR has requested the purchase of and received capital funding for an O-Arm, but has indicated they have no place to store it. The OR had requested an intraoperative MRI.
