You are a dairy farmer and this year has been very good so you decide you are going to sell gallons of milk for 54,44 per gallon. There is a problem though, not everyone that needs milk needs it in whole gallons, most pcople in your city like it by the pint (which there are 8 pints in a gallon). Since you are a computer scientist and a dairy farmer (quite the combo) you decide you will write a program that will convert pints to gallons so you can figure out how much to charge the townspeople for their pints of milk. In order to convert the gallons to pints you use the formula: Gallons=pints/8 And once you know how many gallons are needed the proper price can be charged using the formula: price = gallons 4.44
