ITEM (4a) PARKER TYRELL: INSTRUCTIONS TRANSCRIPT Today it snowed. It was awesome. I've never seen in snow in July. Best thing ever. Settled and everything. Too much snow at school so they closed it. We got a half day. Best day EVER! Well it was. Mucked in the snow for a bit with my mates. Then went home. It was cold and snowing again. I only had a jumper - not expecting snow. It is July. Got home, went round the back as usual and the door was locked. Mum was not home yet. Thought no biggie I'll just get the spare key from the shed. Snowing quite heavily now. Shed door was locked. I thought. Snow was really heavy now and I was so cold. My trainers were wet my jumper soaked through. Then I remembered it was Thursday and Mum worked till 10pm so would not be home till 10.30pm. I live with just my Mum. If I stayed out here till 10.30pm I would get hypothermia or something. So made a smart decision. Break the shed window, open the door and get the key and let myself in. I knew Mum would not mind 'cos we once discussed it and she said 'just break the window, silly - the most important thing is that you are safe. So, I hunted around found a big stone and threw it threw the shed door window. Then I heard the neighbour shout "Hey what are you doing to my shed? I see you. I'm calling the police." I could not really see him because of the snow and there is a big tree between the back of the house and the shed. It was only at that point, I realised I was in the wrong house and I had just broken my neighbour's shed window. Can't believe I was such an idiot. But we only moved in last week. They all look the same at the back and there are no numbers. We have the same shed too. And it was snowing. Would not have broken the window if realised it was the neighbour's. I met him once - last week. He seemed nice enough. He was old, retired I think he said. Wore glasses. He could not have seen me from the window. I could not see the house, it was too snowy. I ran round the front and sat in my front porch, to shelter. I saw the police go into the neighbour's house. They came and asked me my name and arrested me for criminal damage. I gave the police my Mum's work phone number and asked them to ring. They said they called straight away. She took ages to get here.
