You are a product quality engineer and decide to take on two projects at work: a part remanufacturing project and a test-cell project. Each project has tasks given on average every 2 days. It takes you on average 1/3 a day to complete a task for the test-cell project and 1 day to complete a task for the part remanufacturing project. Assume you can only work on 1 task at a time, that the times between tasks and the time it takes you to complete tasks are exponentially distributed, and that if you are completing a task for a given project, you will not receive any more tasks for that project until the task is completed (you may, however, receive tasks for the other project). Tasks are completed in the order in which they are received. Assume your manager will only ever give you at most two tasks total at any time to keep your workload manageable. (a) (5 points) Can we analyze this as a birth and death process? Briefly explain your answer. (b) (10 points) Model this as a continuous time Markov chain (CTMC). Clearly define all the states and draw the state transition diagram
