You are a project Manager and you planned the Pert chart for your project as presented in the following figure: The time units are weeks. Activities A and D are conducted by Electrical Engineering department. Activities B, G, and H are conducted by Mechanical Engineering department. Activities C, E, and F are conducted by Chemical Engineering department. Activity I is conducted by Assembly department. The project started on time, and everything went smoothly. Then some problems occurred as follows: A. After three weeks, the electrical engineering department manager told you that a couple of his employees were called to help with a project they were involved with in the past. Therefore, he would need three more weeks for completing activity D. B. After twelve weeks, the chemical engineering department manager told you that because of other assignments, he would need two more weeks for completing activity F. This is a very important project which must be completed on time. Because of the importance of the project, you have authority to make the final decision regarding the use of any needed resources. On the other hand, you respect your colleagues (the department managers) and you dont want to get in a conflict with them. After considering all the options, how would you handle each of the above problems? Please explain
