You are a Project Manager (PM) working on an effort to implement a new ERP module for your organization. The project to date is nearing the end of its early stage and by all accounts & indications is in good shape.
Today is your monthly project update with your Project Sponsors and a few Key Stakeholders. Nearing the end of the meeting Phoebe Grogan, a respected manager in supply chain operations, says, "I have an issue to bring up about the project or, more to the point, about the guy (the consulting company resource hired to help with the project that is a member of your project team) that was sent out to interview me. He asked some relevant questions on what I thought the solution needed to do. However, he did not seem to know much about anything to do with our company or, how we operate. He looked so younglike he had just gotten out of high school, let alone college. Should we have a say in who we use to do the work, and the firm we are using to ensure they are sending us people who are more familiar and experienced with what is going on? After all, we are paying this firm a premium as subject matter experts on this system and how it can better the way we work."
As PM how you would answer Phoebe's question?
