You are a team lead of a marketing team at a fast-paced company that oFen juggles multiple projects simultaneously. You are known for being very organized and like to plan everything carefully. You break down projects into small steps with clear deadlines and use tools like GanO charts and to-do lists to keep everything in order. But there's a problem in your team because of different ways of managing >me. Antonio, one of your team members, works in a completely different way. He likes to be spontaneous and create, waiting for inspiration before starting work. Antonio tends to procrastinate until he feels motivated and then dives into the work - often working 12-14 hours a day. He doesn't like strict schedules and believes that good ideas come unexpectedly. This difference is causing issues. Antonio oFen misses deadlines, even though you provide the deadlines to him. This negatively affects your work because you need his part to complete mine. This often means you have to work extra hours (without pay) the nights before projects are due to meet the deadlines. Your manager is holding you responsible for these problems. The other day you yelled at Antonio in front of others, which you weren't proud of, but he deserved it. This ongoing conflict has strained your communication and collaboration, affecting the overall team's productivity and cohesion. You have decided to talk to Antonio to see what can be done about the situation. Analyze your situation on the Negotiation Preparation Tool provided.
