You are an Account Executive for a B2B Software as a Service company. Roots is your target prospect.

You are required to complete a Financial Statement analysis of Roots based on 2022 Financial Results and any filings so far from 2023 (1st and 2nd quarter). Part of this analysis will include an investigation of company information found in public media including company information circulars and communications.

Your goal is to assess the financial health of the company while trying to discover insights into the company's needs, purchasing processes, including key decision makers.

Requirements:

Include as attachments with your report the financial statement that were used to complete your analysis

Write a professional report that includes your analysis of Roots from a financial point of view - Key ratios, financial insights related to balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements including management discussion. Consider the pandemic impact.

Reference and include in your report, articles and media reports based on your company research

Your report should be 4-5 pages in length NOT including, your bibliography and attachments.

Your report should feature your conclusions and key insights relative to your analysis of Roots

In class presentation - Week 14 In-Class - 3 minute presentation outlining the key findings of your case analysis and recommended sales strategy

Evaluation:

A. your report will marked based on the quality, depth and completeness of you FS analysis; the quality of your information sources; completeness and relevance of your insights and conclusions relative to ROOTS and its viability as a prospect

B. Presentation - preparation and demonstrated knowledge
